Learn more about ATM's Marina & Waterfront Development services...American Superyacht Forum

June 24-27, 2008
Newport Hyatt Regency
Newport, RI

In June 2008 The Yacht Report team will be taking its highly successful American Superyacht conference back to the East Coast, to the historic and picturesque Newport in Rhode Island; and a new year brings a new name: the American Superyacht Forum, which was formerly known as Project USA. A mimic of their brand in Amsterdam—the Global Superyacht Forum—the American Superyacht Forum reflects the growth and maturity that the American events have developed over the years. Being a short flight from the major U.S. cities and within easy access of all Superyacht hubs, conference organizers are confident that every major builder, designer, manager and owner’s representative will find the time to be in Newport this June.

This year the event will be scaled up in terms of attendance, networking, and American-market focus. Delegate numbers will reach in excess of 300, flying in from all corners of the United States to provide a melting pot of some of the most influential players in the Superyacht community, discussing key issues in how to drive the market forward and sustain, nay improve, recent market growth. Topics to be discussed include the regular updates on legal and regulatory case studies that we can all learn from.

ATM Chairman Ed Modzelewski will be presenting.

May 25-28, 2008
Media Center
Ostend, Belgium

Billed as "the biggest international marina conference in the world" and scheduled for May 25-28, 2008, on the Flemish seacoast where marinas teem with cross channel cruising yachts, the International Marina Conference will be held in the Media Center in Oostend, Belgium. With all its coastal attractions, the invigorating sea air, clean beaches, the freshness of the mussels, monkfish, and other piscine species fished from the North Sea, and a waterfront promenade lined with  an array of tantalizing seafood restaurants, Oostend is an ideal setting for a marina/nautical tourism education conference.

IMC 2008 provides an added dimension, networking with allied interest groups among international yachtsmen, municipal marinas, and  nautical tourism promoters to point up the importance of marinas as boat tourist destinations.
That's why a main conference theme is Alliances for Progress.

IMC 2008, like its predecessors, will field two days of intensive panel discussion by international experts in marina design, operation and management. A battery of speakers from Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Spain, Italy, Japan, the UK and USA is lined up to engage you in lively, interactive discussion of what you want and need to know about how to run a successful marina in today's environment.
