ATM completed the coastal modeling, detailed design, and authority approvals for the intake and outfall system for the Dubai Harbour development. A critical element of this 2-million-square-metre waterfront development is the district cooling plant for the project, which includes the largest marina in the Middle East. ATM provided services including structural design of the valve chamber, development of far-field and near-field dispersion models to assess the mixing of the thermal plume, and the hydraulic design of all the intake and outfall components.
