Project Description: Atlantic Beach is a small city in northeast Florida with the Intracoastal Waterway as its western boundary and the Atlantic Ocean as its eastern boundary. Over the last decade, the city has noticeably experienced increasing nuisance flooding. In 2019, Atlantic Beach received a grant to conduct a vulnerability assessment to analyze future flood risk from projected sea–level rise.
