Project Description: On behalf of the Four Seasons Resort in Anguilla, British West Indies, ATM evaluated and provided solutions for coastal erosion and wave overtopping along portions of the resort’s property. After completing a site assessment and coastal engineering evaluation, we proposed alternatives for cliff and beach stabilization, and we recommended detached breakwaters to help reduce wave overtopping impacts along a rocky headland feature. We deployed a wave and current meter and developed modelling to further evaluate the coastal processes and develop concept designs. Work also entailed monitoring corals and seagrasses, relocating corals, and technical review during construction.
