Project Description: ATM was the project management consultant for the refurbishment of Dubai Marina—East Marina. This work included obtaining Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) and Dubai Municipality (DM) authority approvals for the aging marina, which was first constructed in 2003. Since June 2017, ATM has been contributing to the development of the concept master plan. ATM’s contribution to the project includes advising the architect on the coastal engineering aspects, hydrodynamics and sea-level rise, coastal management strategy, siting and sizing of the marinas, and waterfront features and facilities. This was one of the first marina refurbishment projects in the UAE, along with JA The Resort marina, which ATM also completed.
