Fran Way, PE, CFM (South Carolina) will present “North Topsail Beach Truck Haul Project in 2021-2023” at the North Carolina Beach, Inlet and Waterway Association’s (NCBIWA’s) Annual Conference at the Aloft hotel in Wilmington, North Carolina, on November 17 at 1:30 p.m. EST.

Fran is a Senior Coastal Engineer with ATM and has 25 years of experience in coastal, environmental, and water resources engineering. He applies his background in coastal and water resources to flood hazard risk assessments, wave and current modeling, beach nourishment, dredging and navigation studies, alternatives analyses, and shoreline stabilization projects. He provides services in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and the Caribbean.

NCBIWA preserves, protects, and enhances North Carolina’s coast, merging science and public policy to create sustainable and resilient coastal areas. The association works on behalf of its members by encouraging government action and funding, educating, and advocating for effective federal and state policy, and facilitating environmentally sound scientific and engineering solutions for threatened beaches, inlets, and waterways.
